I met another Primeling. His name is Dominique. He’s the first one I’ve ever spoken to face to face, not counting myself. He showed up right when we needed help finding the docks and pointed us straight there like it was nothing.
It’s strange, meeting someone who comes from the same place you’ve never been.
From Chapter 9:
“Sorry, did I hear you right?” a voice croaked from somewhere behind Zorra. “Are you looking for the docks?”
Dawn and Zorra turned quickly and almost bumped into Dominique Martel. He was another Primeling designated into Nitrocris Hall. He wore a thick wool jacket with bright red stripes. Odd given the sweltering heat and a bead of sweat already sliding down his forehead.
“I know where the docks are,” Dominique said, grinning confidently.
